🗨️ Make a video without subtitles or voiceover?

🎯 The option to create videos without mandatory subtitles is something we’re already working on for future updates!

AI Video Generator

🎬 Key steps: From Content to Generate

1️⃣ Create your storyboard script

  • Write your script first, then double-check each scene to make sure the descriptions are clear and logical.

2️⃣ Generate storyboard images

  • Once you’ve got your script ready, generate the images for each scene.
  • Review them carefully — check if each image matches your script.

3️⃣ What if an image looks wrong?

  • First, check if your prompt is too vague or unclear.
  • If it is, adjust the prompt or try changing the character before regenerating.
  • If only a small part of the image is off, use the Nano tool to fix it quickly.

4️⃣ Animate your final video

  • When all images look good, go ahead and Animate the video. ☞ There are two options: Animate all and Animate one.

⚠️Note: Animate all will override Animate one.

Currently, only Animate one has the lip sync model option available.

Tips: This step uses the most credits, so make sure everything looks right before starting!

☞ Then click Next on the top of right side.

  • -If the video doesn’t look as expected:
  • -Double-check your prompts.
  • -Try regenerating the video again. If it still doesn’t look right, use a more advanced model and regenerate.Or, tweak your prompts for better results.

① Content--------------------------------------

🖼️ How to change the video’s aspect ratio?

When you create a new video and enter your script, you can choose the video’s aspect ratio (for example, 16:9, 9:16). But once the video is created, you can’t change the ratio — you’ll need to start a new project and select the ratio you want.

🌏 How to make a video in another language?

You can directly input the relevant language of text in the script. Videoinu currently supports: German (Deutsch), English, Spanish (Español), French (Français), Hindi (हिंदी), and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) — with or without subtitles.

🎬 How to make a video with my own character?

(Note: This feature is currently only available on the desktop website.)

  1. From the homepage, click on "AI Video Generator."
  2. When you add your script on the content page, make sure the video's style matches your character's style.
  3. After the synopsis, script, cast, and key shot previews are generated, click on a character card to either pick from the character library or create your own.
  4. To create a new character, you'll need to enter their Name, Gender, Category, and Age. The Character Style will automatically match the style of the video you're making. You can also upload a photo of your character to use as a reference.
  5. Once your character is created, you can choose to make them public or private. If you make them public, other users will be able to see and use your character in their own videos.
  6. You can find all the characters you've created in your Character Library and on your Assets page.

🧹 How do I delete a character?

Right now, you can't delete a character directly from the content page after the storyboard script is confirmed. This is because the cast is pulled directly from the script.

  • The best way to permanently remove a character is to edit them out of your script.
  • You can also simply replace the character with a different one.
  • For minor changes, you can go to the storyboard page to remove or add characters in individual scenes and then regenerate the storyboard images for just those scenes.
  • Currently, it’s not possible to delete characters in batch.

✏️ How do I edit a character?

While previewing your storyboard on the Content page, just click on a character's card to open the character library.

From there, you can edit their name, change their voice, replace them entirely, or even create a brand-new character.

Tips: Currently, if you want to change one character's outfit, you can save the character image first and then upload it to the new Character Generate. But we will be improving this feature in the future.

🎭How can I make sure the final video matches my script exactly?

There are two script modes: Smart Script and Basic Script.

  • Smart Script lets our AI optimize your script, which means the final video might not be a 100% match to your original text.
  • If you need the video to stick very closely to your script, we highly recommend using the Basic Script mode.

For the best results, you can also use a tool like GPT to format your story or script perfectly for the Videoinu platform.

Example of how to use GPT to prep your script for Videoinu:

Your original story: In a world shrouded by sea and specters, a traveler meets a warrior and a soul who laugh through their tears. They bring light, fire, and memories, but also leave wounds that cannot heal. Love is born and lost in the tides, and in the end, he gives himself to the sea, returning to the dawn with the "ghosts and girls" who once lit up his life.

The prompt to give GPT: Organize the story script I gave you into a storyboard format that can be directly copied into Videoinu (one line per shot, with visuals + subtitles). Generate this "Videoinu Import Version Script," considering each shot to be 5 seconds long.

Example of what GPT might give you back:

*🎬 Ghosts and Girls — Storyboard Script (for Videoinu) Verse 1 – Winslet’s Light

1.[Scene: Stormy coastline at dawn, a lone traveler kneels by the sea.] Subtitles: She came in laughing, red eyes warm.

2.[Scene: A woman with messy armor and kind eyes walks toward him.] Subtitles: Armor all crooked, heart still worn. ............................. Verse 2 – The Twins of Flame

3.[Scene: Two warrior sisters stand beside him in firelight.] Subtitles: Illcia’s fire, Ruutia’s storm, .............................*

❓ Why can't I find the character I created in the character library?

Most likely, it's because the style of the video you're making doesn't match your character's style.

When you start your video project, you need to make sure the video style you choose is the same as the style of the character you want to use.

🎞️ How to edit the generated storyboard script?

You can easily edit or delete parts of the storyboard script in the "Script" section on the Content page.

Heads up: After making your edits, do not click the "Edit" button in the top-right corner. That button is for changing your original story prompt. If you click it, the system will regenerate a brand new storyboard from scratch, and you'll lose all your edits.

② Storyboard--------------------------------------

🤔 How to fix a storyboard I'm not happy with?

On the Storyboard page, just click on the storyboard you want to fix. From there, you can either tweak the "Image Prompt" or swap out the character to regenerate the image.

If it's just a small detail in the picture that's bugging you, use the "Nano-Banana" tool to touch up that specific spot.

🎨 How to move and rearrange my storyboards?

Go to the Storyboard page and click on the storyboard panel you want to manage. You'll see small icons that let you "Duplicate" or "Delete" the panel.

A good way to add a new scene is to duplicate an existing storyboard, and then you can simply upload a new image to replace the picture in that copied panel.

🎞️ How to turn your storyboard into a video

  • Go to the Storyboard page and check if all your storyboard images look good.
  • Once you’re happy with everything, click “Animate.”
  • You can choose to:

-Animate one scene at a time, or-

-Turn all storyboard images into a full video at once.

-While generating, you can pick from different video models — each has its own style and pricing. Some models are specially made for lip-sync or character consistency.

-Currently, only Animate one has the lip sync model option available.

😐How to fix a generated video I don't like?

On the Storyboard page, select the storyboard you want to change and then click 'Animate'. You can then regenerate that video clip by choosing a different Model or by editing the Animate Prompt.

🎙️ How to assign different voice actors to characters

When you’re creating your video, go to the Storyboard section. Click on “Voiceover” and assign different voice actors to each character. You can either clone your favorite voices or use the default ones available in the system.

👄 How to get my character’s lips to sync with the audio?

  1. On the Storyboard page, click 'Animate'.
  2. Next, select 'Animate one'.
  3. Under the 'Model' dropdown, scroll to the bottom and choose either 'Lip Sync' or 'Lip Sync Pro'.
  4. Hit 'Generate', and that's it! Your video will now have lip-synced audio.

💡 Pro Tip: Before you generate, make sure there's only one main character in the scene with a clear view of their face, especially their mouth. Also, double-check that your subtitles and audio are a perfect match for the best results.

❓Why can’t I add Lip Sync to all storyboard images?

Because lip-sync animation needs the AI to detect a clear face for each character. If some storyboard images don’t have characters or the faces aren’t recognized properly, Lip Sync can’t be added automatically.

🍌 What’s “Nano-Banana”?

Nano-Banana” is used for fixing small image issues. For example, if an extra character shows up in your image, you can use Nano-Banana to remove them.

🎤 How to make characters talk or add voiceovers

Go to the Storyboard section, click “Voiceover,” and assign different voices to your characters. You can use default voices or clone your own to create unique ones.

✏️ I created a storyboard but can’t go back to edit my script or characters

That’s correct — once your Storyboard is generated, you can’t go back to edit the script or characters directly.

You have two options:

If you need big changes, start a new project.

If it’s just small tweaks, go to the Storyboard page to:

  • Add or replace characters,
  • Regenerate specific scenes, or-
  • Edit each scene’s subtitles individually.

🗣️ How to remove the narrator

Go to the Storyboard page, click the subtitle edit icon, and delete the narration text. That will remove the voiceover.

If you tell us what type of video you’re making and what your main goal is, we can also suggest more tailored options for you!

🔊 Lip-sync and voice don’t match?

If the mouth movements don’t match the audio, try using “Lip Sync Pro” for better alignment and smoother results.

🖼️ Not happy with your generated images?

You’ve got two easy options:

On the Storyboard page, change the prompt and regenerate the image (free for subscribers).

Use “Generative Edit” to fix or adjust specific parts of an image.

③ Edit--------------------------------------

🎵 How to add background music

You can add background music on the Storyboard or Edit page. Just click “Background Music” and choose a track from our built-in library.

🎧 The library is a bit limited right now — if you want more options, you can simply generate your video without music and add your own track later using any video editing software.

⚠️ My video failed to generate or got stuck at 95%

If your video didn’t finish generating, please share the project link with our support team: [email protected]

We’ll check what went wrong, and if it’s an issue on our end, we’ll offer compensation for the failed task.

Al Character Generator

🧍 My character looks different while I upload a photo

Try uploading a clear, full-body photo of your character. In the prompt box, type something like:

“Generate a consistent character based on my uploaded photo.”

If it still doesn’t look right, you can send your image to our support team, and they’ll help you create a consistent character for you.

🎨 Can’t find your custom character?

Make sure your character’s style matches the video style you selected (for example: 3D, cartoon, or realistic). If they don’t match, the system might replace your custom character with a default one automatically.
